Iglesia employs over 250 professional tutors from a variety of teaching, educational and professional backgrounds. Tutoring staff credentials include those with:

- - Enrollment in graduate degree Education programs

- - Degrees and/or enrollment in degree programs in Math and/or Math related fields

Staff
Karen Iglesia
President / CEO
Karen established Iglesia Educational Centers in 1996, and has overseen its growth into a thriving educational tutoring, instructional and consulting business. Ms. Iglesia’s career in education also includes serving as a SAT Instructor/Adjunct Professor for SUNY Brockport Rochester Educational Centers, Director of Education and Development for Baden Street Settlement, and a teacher within the Teacher Opportunity Program at Franklin High School. Her professional affiliations include the Urban League Black Scholars Program, National Society of Black Engineers, and Society of Women Engineers.
Tricia Skwieralski
Vice President of Operations
Tricia has worked for Iglesia Educational Centers for over five years, and is responsible for managing, writing, and reporting for all grants, contracts and budgets on behalf of the business. She also serves as a liaison with school districts and other program partners, and manages the business’s day-to-day operations. Ms. Skwieralski has managed municipal grant programs in excess of one million dollars for local community development projects. In the non-profit sector she has secured funding from New York State, the City of Rochester and private entities for community development initiatives.
Wandah Gibbs
Senior Director of Operations
At Iglesia, Ms. Gibbs facilitates community partnerships with Hillside Work Scholarship, RIT STEP Programs, SAT Prep and Summer of Opportunity Programs. In addition to managing and developing programs, she manages staff, and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the business. She also serves as director of media relations and community outreach. Ms. Gibbs is a Newhouse Scholar, who specializes in inter-cultural communications and public relations. Her associations include Phi Theta kappa and Sigma Iota Rho, International Relations Honor Society.
Kerron Miller
Off-Site Manager
Kerron Miller, Offsite Manager and Transportation coordinator, oversees and coordinates Iglesia after-school programs and the RIT Liberty Partnership Program in the Greater Rochester area. Mr. Miller is the liaison between parents, teachers and administrators. He insures that programs run smoothly and meet the needs of the students. Mr. Miller’s knowledge and experience are invaluable to the Iglesia management team, and he provides direction and support to all Iglesia staff.
Ellen Williams
Thurston Road Office Coordinator
As Thurston Road Office Coordinator, Ms. Williams is the first with a smile. She greets Thurston Road students daily, and coordinates the student sign-in and sign-out process. Ms. Williams also oversees the Thurston Road student record filing system.
Kim Banks
Dewey Avenue Office Coordinator
Kim Banks holds a variety of significant responsibilities as Dewey Avenue Office Coordinator. She monitors and supervisies students and the general operations of the Dewey Avenue tutoring center, and coordinates the student registration process. Ms. Banks additionally updates and maintains student records filing and up-to-date employee information.
