About Iglesia

Established in 1996 by owner Karen Iglesia, Iglesia Educational Centers has steadily expanded into a thriving educational, tutoring, and consulting business. Iglesia serves a large number of city and suburban students, as well as adult learners, and seeks to address the often unique challenges and needs facing each of these populations.

Iglesia has two tutoring centers in the city of Rochester that are on the city’s bus line, and are open seven days a week:

• Thurston Road tutoring center (also company headquarters) – located in Rochester’s southwest area
• Dewey Avenue tutoring center – located in Rochester’s northwest area.
• Home Tutoring services available upon request.
• Iglesia also provides tutoring at local Rochester area schools.
• Iglesia has expanded its tutoring business into Syracuse, NY . Our Syracuse office is centrally located downtown. Iglesia provides tutoring and academic enrichment to students in local schools of the Syracuse City School District, North Syracuse Central School District and the Utica City School District.
• Pending final approval from various school districts, Iglesia is further expanding to provide tutoring and academic enrichment to students all across Upstate New York.
• Iglesia provides tutoring in all subject areas including:
• - ELA (all grade levels)
• - Mathematics (all grade levels)
• - Hard sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Science)
• - Languages (ESOL, Spanish, French),
• - History, Global Studies
• - SAT, ACT and GED preparation.
